Duplichain University offers counseling services for Students facing critical problems requiring immediate attention; including individuals with disabilities/special needs.
The mission of Counseling Services is to provide emotional and social support to our students specifically, and to their families as needed.
Our major objectives are as follows:
- To provide nurturing, support and encouragement to students who may experience a sense of despondence, discouragement, or simple depression while on the journey of earning their degree.
- To provide a sounding board for students who may need a listening ear for the tough emotional experiences that are often affiliated with dealing with graduate school, family life, and personal issues.
- To provide assistance to students who may need to assess and refocus on their purpose and need for going through this graduate school journey with the anticipation for academic success.
- To provide assistance to our students when they are searching within themselves to identify solutions to simple emotional problems.
- To offer information that will enhance and strengthen Students’ emotional, social, and intellectual well-being.
Recommendations for referrals and other resources are also available as an adjunct to crisis counseling.
