Mission of the University

The mission of Duplichain University is to provide Masters and Doctorate degree programs that generate a passion for learning and commitment to research and service. Intellectual growth, self-understanding, respect for diversity and professional development are advanced through research based academic programs.

Purpose

This mission is supported by two inter-related purposes:

• To provide a participatory learning environment for scholars who – because of their personal situations – are not able or willing to enroll in traditional face to face programs;
• To expand the level and perspectives of current educational and criminal justice research to address crucial issues for which solutions are sought.

Overview

Duplichain University offers a quality distant learning doctoral and master’s program that balances traditional academic preparation with differentiated approaches to research and a technological delivery system. DU offers flexible class organization and structure, a feature often required by individuals who find it difficult to matriculate on a traditional land-based campus. The online degree programs are interactive, rigorous and challenging program and compares favorably to land-based courses.
